In October 2023 “Eva” received the “Special Art Award” in the international art contest “After the Storm” by Blue Sapphire International Art Group. In July 2023 it was exposed, after a curated selection process, in the International Collective Virtual Exhibition "Dreams of Freedom", by Venezuela Aries, International Art Gallery. In June 2023 this painting received the Diploma of Excellence for its artistic values, issued by Liesel Cerna Studio International Group. Artwork of Surrealistic Style, where the artist surpasses the limits of reality. Here Zaplaflora has been able to create in a painting what is invisible to others, that is the endless "renaissance" of Mother Nature. Inspired in Nature magic and beauties, this painting is a chant to Nature continued renovation, where Nature is the greatest artist. Being born in Cuba, that beautiful island in the shape of an alligator and bathed by the Caribbean Sea, I return in my paintings to our rich cultural heritage as one of my main sources of inspiration. Our ancestors were nourished by that legacy, and our current generations continue feeding themselves from it today. My work "Eva" is an ode, a chant of love and gratitude to that cultural and historical heritage, with the feeling that its roots sprout from time to time, to stay alive forever.
