Kiss in the Jungle

About this artwork

This painting reproduces the surrealistic image of that universal expression of love and caress that the kiss is. Two creatures represented by their profile faces show their love for each other putting their lips together in an endless kiss. If you observe those faces carefully, you will discover that their lips come from two blue fish, kissing each other as well. Flowers and leaves are also part of this complex set. With these integrated images full of classic and also innovative symbols, I refer to the close relationship between Man, fauna and flora, as three inseparable components of Nature.
