I remember my grandma Lilia Díaz del Valle every single day. This painting is my tribute to her. She used to tell me very fantastic stories before going to bed. The story behind this painting, which she learned from her ancestors, is the one I love the most. This tells about the first man on Earth, who felt there was a missing "ingredient" in his life, and he realized he should use the seeds of love he possessed to give birth to a strong "tree of life". That very special man had the power to plant, with his seeds of love, that first "tree of life" that will bring to the world the thick Amazonian vegetation and its abundant natural resources. As my grandma used to tell me when I was a little child, this is the story of the Amazon origin and the flora all around the world.
