During a visit to a war ravaged country, I notice people living with destruction all around. They performed a balancing act everyday, surviving amid destruction. In the building, with bombed out roof line, disintegrating stones and mortar, gaping holes - some repaired, some not, people still lived their ordinary life, hanging out clothes to dry and the like. The color of the laundry is an intentional artistic license.
