Dear Friends,

As we enter 2026, we would like to share our vision for the year ahead and outline how People & Paintings Gallery will continue to grow, evolve, and support our artistic community.

About Us

People & Paintings Gallery is an online art gallery based in New York, working with artists, curators, and collectors worldwide. Alongside our online exhibitions and sales, we periodically collaborate with cultural institutions and local venues across New York and neighboring states to present physical exhibitions featuring our artists.
We continuously work to expand our list of venues to showcase the works of our House Artists. If you are interested in hosting an art exhibition with us, please contact us at info@peopleandpaintings.com.

In 2026, we are refining our strategy to strengthen and deepen our support for artists already represented by the gallery.

No new House Artists will be accepted in 2026.This decision allows us to focus our resources, promotion, and curatorial attention on our existing House Artists and to support their artistic and professional growth more effectively.

More auctions throughout the year. We will significantly increase the number of online art auctions, creating more opportunities for collectors to acquire works and for artists to reach new audiences.

Expanded focus on prints. In addition to original works, we will actively auction and sell more prints. This will make collecting art more accessible and affordable, while allowing artists to reach a broader collector base.

For Collectors

For collectors, 2026 will offer more curated opportunities to discover and acquire art at a wide range of price points. Through increased auctions, expanded print offerings, and focused promotion of our House Artists, we aim to make collecting both accessible and meaningful. Whether you are an experienced collector or purchasing your first artwork, People & Paintings Gallery remains committed to transparency, thoughtful curation, and long-term value.

Independent Artist Community

Artists from around the world are welcome to create Independent Artist accounts on our platform.

Independent Artists may showcase and sell their works, participate in gallery activities, and engage with our international community.

The Independent Artist subscription allows artists to apply to all juried exhibitions free of charge.

Juried Art Exhibitions

In 2026, we will host six juried art exhibitions, each curated by independent international artists and professional curators. These exhibitions remain a core part of our program and reflect diverse artistic voices, styles, and perspectives.

Each juried exhibition will include three monetary awards: Curator’s Award ($100) Gallery Award ($100) Popular Vote Award ($50)

Award-winning artists will receive certificates, recognition on their artist pages, and increased visibility through gallery promotion.

At the end of the year, we will present three major final exhibitions, which serve as a culmination of our annual program:

The Best of 2026 — showcasing award-winning and curator-selected works from the juried exhibitions

From the Gallery’s Storeroom 2026 — featuring outstanding artworks submitted throughout the year that were not included in earlier exhibitions

House Artists Exhibition — highlighting the latest and most significant works by our House Artists

Throughout 2026, we will continue improving the gallery experience for both artists and collectors by refining our platform, strengthening promotion, and expanding sales opportunities. Our goal is to build a sustainable, transparent, and inspiring environment where art can be discovered, collected, and appreciated worldwide.
