๐"Autumn Colors" by Leonid Slutsker
What if we could see autumn not directly, but through its reflection?
In "Autumn Colors", Leonid Slutsker invites us to look at nature from a different perspective. The surface of the water becomes a canvas of its own, capturing and transforming the colours of the surrounding landscape. Vivid greens, golden yellows, fiery oranges and delicate touches of white intertwine in a fascinating play of light, movement and texture.
The reflections seem to dissolve the familiar shapes of trees and foliage, creating an almost abstract composition. Nothing remains entirely still or clearly defined. Instead, nature appears in fragments, gently distorted by the movement of water, as if autumn were painting its own ever-changing image.
There is a particular beauty in this transformation: a familiar landscape becomes something unexpected, inviting us to pause and discover the extraordinary in an ordinary moment. (notes by Cosmina Marcela Oltean)
With this new chapter of Short Autumn Story, we celebrate autumn through the colours and reflections that make every encounter with nature unique.
