"Sounds of Colors". Exhibition Terms.

Exhibition Terms

Applications:

All artworks must be original and submitted by the author. The artist is responsible for the submission.

This Exhibition is dedicated to watercolorONLY WATERCOLOR artworks will be accepted. (Mixed media with watercolor is OK).

Applications are accepted on our site: “Apply Here” from Mon, June 29 to Fri, July 10, 2020.

The application price - $3 per artwork.

Exhibition:

Exhibition dates: Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 24

The 20 artworks selected by the Exhibition Curator will be exhibited on the main page rotation banner on our site for the duration of the exhibition.

Within two weeks of the exhibition, each of the 20 selected artworks will also be posted on our main Facebook Page and other media accounts we curate:  Gallery InstagramGallery TwitterGallery PinterestGallery Reddit

Prizes and Awards: 

1)      20 artworks will be chosen by our Exhibition Curator. Each selected artwork will receive a Certificate of Selection

2)      Grand Prix (Monetary Prize $100) - awarded by the Exhibition Curator and People & Paintings Gallery

3)      Curator’s Award (Monetary Prize $100

4)     Popular Vote Award (Monetary Prize $50) – will receive the artwork with the most “likes” on Exhibition Page of our website during the exhibition (July 13 – July 24) 

The gallery may also use the number of likes received on our “People & Paintings Open” page. We highly recommend posting all applied artworks to this Facebook Group Page. To help, we added the button “Share” to the application process.

Gallery reserves a right to choose the winner in this category if numbers of likes in the sources above will be compromised or contested.

Results:

1)     The 20 selected artworks will be announced by Sunday, June 12, 2020

2)   The “Grand Prize”, the “Curator’s Award” and the “Popular Vote Award” will be announced by Sunday, July 26, 2020

Exhibition Curator:

This exhibition is curated by the Master of Watercolor from Moscow (Russia), artist Igor Dubovoy.

Additional Information:

After you submit the application, we highly recommend posting each applied artwork to our Facebook group “People & Paintings Open”. To help, we added a button “Share” to the application process.

After the exhibition is over, we will keep the exhibition works available to the audience in the “Previous Exhibitions” section.

After the Exhibition Catalog is ready, you will be able to download it for free from the exhibition page on our site.
