Bio: Visual art and music have sustained and entertained me all my life. The study of both has given me years of pleasure. It's been my good fortune to have met many fine artists who encouraged me and invited me into their classes, much to my benefit.
Statement: Plein Air painting is a challenge and has an undeniable urgency, a strength and power, a vivacity of touch that is rarely achieved in the studio. It engages all of your senses to the utmost. I feel compelled to paint but what a wonderful compulsion.
