Bio
Aleksandra Ciążyńska is an artist who knew from a young age that art would be more than just a hobby for her. She was born in 1987 in Poland. Although she is an economist by profession, she found her true path in painting, which she sees as a way to communicate without words. She honed her skills under the tutelage of Professor Paweł Lewandowski-Palle, achieving success in national and international competitions. Her work has been exhibited not only in Poland but also in Italy, France, Austria, China, United Arab Emirates, the USA, and many other countries. She enjoys diversity of the world and it is from this diversity that she draws inspiration. The world is so incredibly diverse that she couldn't paint a single subject. She paints flower meadows, Venetian masks, and recently, she's been creating a new series, "Invitations," which has completely captivated her. In it, she shows underappreciated fragments of our everyday lives, including entrances to buildings and architectural details that we pass by indifferently. She loves details and perfecting them, which is why she often chooses larger formats of canvas. Pissarro said, "Happy are those who see beauty in ordinary places, where others see nothing! Everything is beautiful, you just need to know how to look carefully," while Matisse added, "I strive for balance and purity, for an art that does not sow fear and confusion; so that the weary, harassed, and beleaguered man may experience a little peace and quiet before my paintings." She would like her paintings to be perceived in this way.
Statement
Art is my great passion which I try to develop every day. A passion that is extremely interesting and addictive, because thanks to it I am constantly learning something new. Yes, art is an eternal learning that allows you to pay attention to things that are imperceptible to others. Discover the beauty of the world around us, the uniqueness of forms, colors and shapes that accompany us imperceptibly every day. It allows you to discover yourself, look into the recesses of the soul and constantly finds new faces. The ability to paint pictures is a gift that needs to be cared for every day. I am glad that I can share this gift with the world.

From the Gallery's Storeroom 2025
People & Paintings Gallery
Many great works are being submitted to our Juried Exhibitions. According to the rules, our curators select only 20 works for each exhibition. The exhibition curation is a separate art. Each individual work must be a part of the "big picture". Unfortunately, many amazing works "fall through the crack". As we remember from Leonard Cohen: "There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in". Some of these works are so great that we still want to show them to our fans. We decided that at the end of this year we will organize a special exhibition "From the Gallery's Storeroom" where we will exhibit some of the works applied, but not selected for any other exhibitions during this year.
