4th Juried Art Exhibition
Fork in the road is a point where a choice, one of many possibilities has to be taken.
Every artwork is the result of countless choices: compositional, textural, theoretical, material, etc. The presence of each mark, color, and line tells the story of these choices. Each artist holds the power of creation in their hands as they decide not only what will be brought into the light but also what will remain absent.
This exhibition aims to highlight the intentional act of creation and the power of choice that each artist holds in their hands.
To curate this exhibition we invited a Curator and Scholar from Providence, Rhode Island, Mila Pinigin. In the last five years, Mila Pinigin has served as the Director of the Aidron Duckworth Art Museum in Meriden, NH and the Exhibitions Manager at AVA Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon, NH. She has recently received her MA in Art History from SACI in Florence, Italy. In 2019 she had the honor of jurying the Art, Craft, and Design Exhibition at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen in Sunapee, NH.
