Wandering through Quebec city with my son, discovering small passages and doorways, nooks and crannies. Touching all of the interesting building made of smooth stone, and stopping for ice cream even though its cold outside. Finding a small drain on the side of the street is the highlight of our day, he could spend hours here. I am tasked with collecting small rocks to be sacrificed to the void. Hearing the different sounds as small and large rocks meet water below. This is a child's favorite game.
