Emergent was painted using screwed up kitchen roll paper dipped into acrylic paint.As a person with Parkinson's Disease, I track my emotional journey through a series of faces - not portraits. This is the latest in the series - "Facing Parkinson's". It shows someone still coming to terms with who she is becoming, not quite a formed identity. My manual dexterity often is too poor now to use brushes so I experiment with all sorts of ways to make marks.
