The Water Palace

About this artwork

This piece represents my internal landscape. When I think about the place where creativity comes from, it looks something like this. Sometimes I think perhaps it is a shared space, but perhaps that's just my imagination. Although I painted this one in 2009, I have recently re-discovered my passion for oil painting since the pandemic left me unemployed and offered me lots more time for creation. I have several new pieces in the works, but the Water Palace seemed most fitting for the theme of this particular exhibition.
