Deep Forest
byJean Cherouny
About this artwork
Into the heart a deep forest is a place inside myself. The innovation of mark making precedes linguistic and chromatic tendencies. Mono-colored and bold lines create a surface that will flow beyond the edges to repeat again. This is a gaze subjugated. Line and color are in a contemptuous battle for an interior beauty to define the soul.
