By its nature, a watercolor study is imperfect if not slightly haphazard. In addition, this one condenses aspects of a huge famous cliff (southern NY State) into a small profile of semi abstract shapes with simple colors. Surface structure and the flow of its features have been highlighted to allow the viewer to imagine the rhythm of climbing here.
