A glorious sunrise illuminates this peaceful inlet where only a couple boats rest quietly at anchor. But this is a scene made possible only by the Covid crisis. This is Isabella Island, one of the more remote islands in the Galapagos. In normal times, unfortunately, this harbor is crowded with cruise ships of all sizes, each vying to disgorge its passengers in an unrelenting assault on the pristine island. Is this the exciting new world the islanders want?
