Following the destruction wreaked by the four riders of the Apocalypse, the fifth rider appears to bring calm and healing and resurrection. The fifth rider is female and she is even more powerful than her brothers. To me, this represents the power of creation and new birth over death and destruction. Call it a metaphor for the human spirit.
