Play/戏

About this artwork

Play The waves rise into dance; my spirit remains free. I care not for victory or defeat; the whole world becomes my stage. 戏 浪起成舞， 我心如初。 不与风云论赢输， 天地皆是我戏途。 "Play" is a vibrant work from my collection "Women and Elements: The Journey Home". Set beneath a towering, cresting emerald wave, a dancer clad in white leaps with effortless joy, her hands playfully interacting with the ocean's immense force. As the waves rise into dance, her spirit remains free and unburdened—seeking no victory over nature, but embracing the universe as her playground. This artwork invites the viewer into a realm of lighthearted mastery and joy, reminding us that even amidst life's towering forces, a pure and playful heart transforms every challenge into a magnificent stage. The submitted artworks are part of my 8-part signature collection, 'Women and Elements: The Journey Home'. The series explores the spiritual transformation of the female soul across eight stages: Born, Ascension, Play, Mastery, Grace, Freedom, Lightness and Return."
