About this artwork
It is a little hard to know what the perspective here is. Is this tree with its spreading branches viewed from above or below? The Light comes from behind, as with the Burning Bush that Moses encountered. The medically inclined interpret it as neuron and synapses in the brain. The Light that spreads with the speed of light through the brain, the Light of thoughts, feelings, and mystical experience of the union with God – Theosis.
