My painting is an allegory of friendship. It shows two mannequins. One of them comforts the other. Why mannequins? By this I wanted to show that every person, regardless of age, sex, place of residence, skin color, views or religion, needs a friend. Mannequins are just people. Friendship is a very important topic for me, especially nowadays, in times of pandemic, when we are further apart than usual. Friendship is a medicine for everyone. Having a loved one with you makes it easier to endure any problems. The background of the painting is black, but a light shines on the silhouettes of, which means that the friend's help is a wonderful gift. A gift that lights up any darkness, any bad day, no matter how bad it might be. Thanks to her, hope for a better tomorrow appears. The green color in the background signifies this hope, while the blue color (the color of the seas and oceans) is the endless possibilities that appear on our way thanks to the support of friends. When a problem arises and our friend is close, soon hope “joins” him, followed by opportunities that we have not noticed before. That's why friendship is so important in life! It is a wonderful gift that we should care for!
