The Two Shores

About this artwork

I felt especially motivated to create a work that advocated for unity, harmony, empathy and peace among people, despite political and religious differences, diverse approaches, and discrepancies in conceiving life. And here is my work "The Two Shores", the result of my understanding that dialogue, harmony, empathy, and peace among people and nations must prevail above any differences. In my painting, you will find two human faces, exquisitely decorated with clear differences between them, representing two distinct nations. Both "peoples" appear separated by a river whose shores foster communication. This river symbolizes understanding and the most transparent unity between those two nations despite their differences. This must be our aspiration and the purpose of our Art: the breaking down of all borders, to ensure a dignified and fruitful coexistence for all, in pursuit of peace among all the nations of the world.
