About this artwork

This artwork is one of my favorites. It was inspired by the beautiful nature that we see every day. I went walking one day on a long trail behind our house, and what I saw was more than just leaves falling and petals blooming. I saw life. I wanted to use the life around me to create something enlightening, envisioning, and awestruck. That is when it hit me: nature created from nature. I spent hours on every miniscule detail of my piece, from the bird's wings to the golden crisp leaves near the branch. Finally, it was complete! I love this painting, and it will be my forever favorite piece.
