Teacuppa Creature of the Great Sky

This assemblage was inspired by a teacup, which I placed in an arrangement of wood and clay, and then coated with acrylic paint. My purpose was to transform an ordinary teacup into a little creature, a “Teacuppa Creature.” The handle of the teacup became a nose or beak, while the cavity of the teacup became an opportunity to put my creature in a certain context or environment. I ended up making a series of “Teacuppa Creatures.”
