Circumstances have forced us to retreat into smaller and smaller spaces, and only then have we been able to see what was ours and we did not cherish because we took it for granted. And by withdrawing further within ourselves, we have learned a valuable lesson. Belonging is bidirectional not unidirectional, you cannot own something without it owning you. Only he who looks at the stars can own them, just as only those who are part of the place can own the place. And to get back what was once ours, we must use it and enjoy it. We must step on every brick in the street, look through every window, caress the bronze of the statues and the iron of the bars. We must, by right, sleep leaning against each wall in the morning light. Only then we will have found what was lost and when we'll look back we'll know that nothing has been in vain.
