About this artwork
As old dreams explode and fragments are hurled into the air, new ones are created. The deliberate placing of a suggested horizon way up in the top third of the painting suggests something different - new horizons. For me, this is a metaphor for life as it has developed since the diagnosis of Parkinson’s. A different life, different dreams, different challenges - but ones that are still full of rich colour and movement.
