Emotions in a Painting. Gallery Note. Winners.

Our gallery is very happy to serve as an Art platform for many artists around the globe. Just for this exhibition, we received applications from 16 countries. During the art show, the exhibition page of our site was visited by 3,611 people from 98 different countries. It would be hard to count how many art lovers have seen the exhibited artworks on our Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube pages, but this number is much larger. We love to connect artists and collectors.

A special thank you goes to the exhibition curator and our House Artist Juan Francisco Gomez Cambronero. He suggested the theme of this exhibition, reviewed all of the applications, and compiled what you see now as the exhibition "Emotions in a Painting".  Juan also had to nominate the Curator's Award winner. He had 3 main candidates for this nomination and in the end, his emotions resonated with "Amapolas" ("Poppies") by Feliciano Moya (Spain).

At the end of the exhibition, we had a very hard task in selecting the Gallery Award winner. We considered every work and read every description. Every artist tried to capture their emotions and did it in a way that only they could do. Interestingly, many emotions in this difficult time of pandemic and isolation were related to childhood and home (like "Alone in the woods" or "Happiness"), and solitude ("Сострадание/Compassion"). Some artists appealed to revolutionary emotions ("Suprassensível") and emotions of rebellion ("Red Kettle"). Others explored the difference between real emotions and their expression ("Face") or disorders ("Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder"). For the Gallery Award, however, we decided that Hope is what we need after all. The future should be bright and today the future is brighter for "Hope" by Bors (Hungary).

Our Gallery also wants to express our gratitude to you, our audience. It is our pleasure to work for you and serve you the best contemporary art we can find. We appreciate your participation. Your voice is always heard and your votes count. This time you collectively made one more happy artist in this world. Your Popular Vote award will go to the artist from Brazil Emanuel Sansana for his work “Os Tropeiros estão Chegando/The Tropeiros are Arriving”.

We also want to remind all of the winners that you can apply one artwork for our next exhibition for free. You just need to submit your work and exit BEFORE you click "Pay". Then email us so we can submit it for you
