Phantasmagoria with pelicans
byMonacuba
About this artwork
As a child, I watched a movie in which a man hugs an oil-soaked pelican and asks for his forgiveness. I still remember that episode, it cut into my heart with pain. I like that the beautiful pelicans in my painting are not in danger and they are happy and playing in the rays of the sun.
