The Look

I painted this from a photo that I took of my franddaughter, and fully intended to paint her hair and everything, but since I was using up paint that I had on my palette that I had just used to paint two rainbow florals. I instead decided to make her a little Shaman, Goddess, Fairy Princess something! When she poses for me, as she has done since she was 2, she has always had this look! I don't know where it came from but I love it! After I finished the work, I set it in my living room to look at it and later in the day, a sun streak went across her eyes...I had to paint that in! And this is the result. I have about 80 paintings of her, only 5 are for sale. This is not one of them.
